Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the first female who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive years. In both 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She has gained fame for being the only woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is known for taking home both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her parents and siblings. When she was a kid she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She participated in many school events and earned several medals. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir as of 2021, is age 31. She stands at 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie began the CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed well in initial games and finished in the top 10 out of 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. Following a long period in CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment brought her the honor of being named. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 led her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. And in 2021, she took home a bronze. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie is a model of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other brands. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel which has around a thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
