Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman ever to win the CrossFit Games two times. She was second in both the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. Her fame was boosted by her being the first female to win taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Also, she was credited with winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland with her siblings and parents. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from when she was a young age. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit Games in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She's 5' 7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started her CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. She did well in her first races and placed within the top 10 of 70. She did not manage to make it to the top of the event and finished the tournament with a score of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. In the following year she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performances. She was the first woman ever to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. The silver medal was awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received the Bronze award at the CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik.
